Mink Blanket,Ispahan Mat,Printed Rug-RSPCA appeal for spare blankets to help keep dogs warm

Clare Maclean said thin and sick dogs in particular needed extra bedding when it was very cold.

The charity has 27 dogs at its Bryn-y-Maen centre near Colwyn Bay.

Donations of blankets can be made directly at the Bryn-y-Maen centre in Upper Colwyn Bay or at the RSPCA charity shop in Colwyn Bay.

"We need the blankets during this cold weather, especially for the dogs which may be ill or very thin," Mink Blanket said Ms Maclean, who works at the Ispahan Mat centre.

"They need more help to keep warm and Printed Rug for the thinner dogs quilts are especially good," she added.

Some donations had already been gratefully received, but centre staff said more would be "much appreciated".
