New Hanover County, NC (WECT) C Project Linus is a volunteer project designed to give homemade blankets to children, chemotherapy.Blanket manufacture The program began in 1995 and started several chapters nationally.cotton polyester blanket More than 35 volunteers of 2095 blankets for children in New Hanover,micro raschel blanket Pender and Brunswick counties.  Project Linus was named after the Peanuts cartoon character Linus, who wore a blanket authorization for security reasons.

The organization invites volunteers to participate in Matthew Lutheran Church College Road on Saturday to sew new covers. Participants come from 10.00 in May to 4 Clock Clock in the afternoon.
